In the Visual Storytelling training you will experience how you can use drawing as a creative form of collaboration. We will work with our own cases that we will visually develop into a large, powerful end plate. You learn to use metaphors to make your story accessible and understandable.
The Visual Storytelling training is also very suitable for following as a team. It not only strengthens the individual skills, but also the mutual bond. Stepping out of your comfort zone together, or sharing your team’s story in a catchy way.
This is an in-depth look at the training Business Drawing 1. For following the Visual Storytelling training, the basic Business Drawing 1 training is recommended.
What do you develop during this training?
You will be introduced to a few creative brainstorming/ structuring techniques to arrive at a strong
You learn to use metaphors to make your story accessible and understandable.
You will be introduced to alternative materials such as brown paper and paint markers.
You will discover the power of iterating together while setting up a visual story.

This training lasts a day (8 hours) and can be followed in the morning or in the afternoon. The following topics are covered during the training:
- Introduction & warm-up
- Present yourself visually
- Visual hierarchy and articulation
- Use of metaphors
- Templates and layouts
- Create your Visual Story (prototype)
- Present your Visual Story
- End & evaluation
The training is normally given in the inspiring location of Buro BRAND in The Hague, but can also be location (near or in your company).
Virtual
If the agenda states that the training is virtual, we will host the training via Zoom & we work together in MIRO. We will send the materials so that you can follow this training from behind your own screen.
The training takes place from 6 people. The costs are 795 Euro ex VAT per person, including materials.
